Which underground city to visit?

Choose Derinkuyu for maximum depth, or Kaymakli for wider walkways.

Derinkuyu requires navigating very low, narrow tunnels. It is the deepest known underground city in the region. Kaymakli spreads out more horizontally, which feels less restrictive. If you have severe claustrophobia, bad backs, or mobility issues, Derinkuyu is not recommended.
